The crushing
Crushing is the first step of comminution. This task is carried out in two or three stages (primary, secondary and tertiary crushing), mainly in dry way.
Industrial crushers reduce the material from very large pieces or blocks to around 10 mm. They operate on different principles, depending on the characteristics of the material (mechanical resistance, abrasiveness, humidity): by compression/crushing (jaw crusher, rotary crusher, cone crusher or roller crusher) or by impact/percussion (impact crusher or hammer mill).
CTP has the following equipment for testing in batch or continuous circuit:
Type | Materials | Particle size In (d100) | Particle size Out (d50) | Max. Capacity |
