Centrifugal techniques
Centrifugal gravimetric separators are suitable for processing particularly fine products (typically below 100 µm). Infrequently used outside certain fields (gold), they combine various effects and also fluidisation. The acceleration experienced reaches up to 60 g thanks to the centrifugal force.
CTP has a Knelson separator and a Multi-gravimetric separator (MGS), both laboratory sized:
