New project >>DOUDOU<<

Since April 1st, our new Interreg France-Wallonie-Vlaanderen project, called Doudou, started. It is about finding new highly valuable uses, by additive manufacturing, of cross-border plastic waste currently hard to valorise and/or not economic to integrate into traditional valorisation scheme. 3D printing will be performed with industrial or post-consumer plastic waste processed to obtain filament or granules to feed dedicated 3D printing systems according to the plastic type. Lead Partner (IMT Lille Douai) and other partners (Armines, Certech et CTP) have already secured different types of plastic to treat via their various industrial contacts
