BOTTOM UP

The aim of this project, led by the CTP (Centre Terre et Pierre) in partnership with the CRR (Centre de Recherches Routières), is to promote the use of clinker in high added-value applications (upgrading) and to define criteria for regulating and ensuring its safe use in road construction. These criteria will ensure that no harmful phases develop in the long term that could cause damage, such as cracking of the wearing course. At the end of the project, the conditions for using bottom ash in treated or untreated cement-treated stone foundations will be defined, thus guaranteeing the durability of the road structure as a whole.
