This research portfolio explored several valorisation pathways for RPFHWI in the domain of BPW materials or within hydraulic binders.

An initial RPFHWI washing stage aims at the removal of pollutant elements or compounds harmful to the applications under consideration. The research thus also focused on the treatment of the water generated by these washing operations. The technology watch implemented, and the tests carried out led to the identifying of several promising avenues for the reutilisation of RPFHWI, which will enable significant reductions in the ultimate waste tonnage earmarked for incinerators.
